You know that feeling of finding that thing you never knew you needed? That glorious, epiphanic moment when your heart shouts ‘YES!?’ For Dana, that moment came after her first feeble attempt to climb a silk (and after tasting her first mango). She instantly fell in love with not only the intense physicality, but the novel challenge, as a former athlete, of conscious body movement. Since that day over 4 years ago in a humble Brooklyn warehouse, she has been reveling in all things movement, particularly silks, cloud swing and rope. Combining raw strength and grace, Dana performs in several private and public venues around New York and has taught in New York, Brazil and Cambodia.
